Breeders' Cup 2018: Post positions and odds

The post positions and morning line odds are set for all 14 Breeders' Cup races to be run Friday and Saturday at Churchill Downs. Churchill will host the championships for the first time since 2011.

There are 10 races on Friday, Nov. 2. First post time is 12:55 p.m. There is an overflow field for the first running of the Juvenile Fillies' race. Bellafina, Sippican Harbor and Restless Rider are Grade 1 winners. Summering is a longshot, but she could be a steal. The Juveniles Turf Sprint starts at 5:22 p., and the last out Futurty Stakes winner Uncle Benny will stretch out and run here instead.

There are 12 races on Saturday, Nov. 3. First post time is 10:45 a.m. There are two races in the Filly & Mare Sprint and Turf Sprint. The Dirt Mile is held at 1:16 p. m. and is back to one turn at Churchill Downs. Rainbow Heir has returned to training for this race. The Juvenile TurF Sprint is won by Brown-trained A Raving Beauty and Fourstar Crook.

Promises Fulfilled, Roy H, Imperial Hint and perhaps even Whitmore are eligible for an Eclipse Award with a victory in the Sprint. O'Brien runners have dominated the Turf, but he doesn't send his best to the Mile. Last year's Kentucky Oaks winner Abel Tasman takes on this year’s hero Monomoy Girl. Enable is an even-money favorite from the No. 2 hole. Accelerate is the favorite in Classic. Collected and Toast of New York are also-eligibles next in line to make the field.
