Breeders’ Cup Classic: Flightline heads field, as embattled trainer Baffert returns to Kentucky

Flightline and Rich Strike are among the horses pre-entered for the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Todd Pletcher is also pre entering two horses for US$6 million race. The Classic has implications for Horse of the Year honours. Bob Baffert is preparing his horses to compete in the world championships at Keeneland. He is banned from Churchill Downs-owned tracks and New York Racing Association tracks. He has five horses entered in world championship. They are Cyberknife, Epicenter and Olympiad. Cyberknifed also entered the Dirt Mile.
