Wise Dan is the reigning Horse of the Year. He will try to defend his title in the Breeders' Cup Mile. The weather could excuse the Shadwell Turf Mile, which was cancelled. Wise Dan won the last Breeder's Cup last year.

Za Approval is a long shot but he won his last race easily. He is coming into his own as he gets older and more experienced. He has been compared to Wise Dan and Obviously.

Game on Dude is undefeated this year and has home track advantage at Santa Anita. He has been dominant in the older male division this season. Game on dude will try to put an exclamation point on a flawless season at the Classic.

Will Take Charge is a champion three-year-old colt. He won the Travers Stakes and Pennsylvania Derby this summer. The colter was born in April. Will Take charge is going to race in the Breeders' Cup Classic.
