Noah And The Ark won the Lonesome Glory Hurdle at Aqueduct last weekend. It was his first start since winning the 2021 Carolina Cup. Harrison Beswick was in the saddle and he also partnered Noah And the Ark to victory on his final start in England, over hurdles in 2019 at Worcester. The Lonsome glory hurdles was one of two jump races on the card. The other was the first day of steeplechase racing at the track since 1974.
Noah And The Ark sold to Gerry Hogan for €8,000 as a yearling. He was sold for $9,500 to Thorne Farm as 3-year-old. His sire Vinnie Roe is a four-time Group 1 Irish St Leger winner. Vinnie Roe has 21 crops of racing age. Warren Ewing bought a colt foal by Mahler at National Hunt Sale in Goffs last year for £14,00. Collen Beag is the dam of the point-to-point winner Anyharminasking, who sold last season for €145, 000.
Noah And The Ark's third dam is Well Mannered (Menelek). She was trained by Ruby Walsh and ridden by Ted's son Willie. Well Over's daughter, Over The River, was a successful breeding success.
