Brentford, currently in 11th place, showcase a balanced record of four wins, four draws, and four defeats so far this season. Despite a recent defeat to Liverpool, the Bees aim to capitalize on their formidable offensive capabilities at the Gtech Community Stadium. Brentford's goal-scoring prowess is evident, having scored in their last 19 Premier League home games, making them a potent force on home turf.

Amid ongoing speculation about a potential January move to Arsenal, Brentford's key figure Ivan Toney will be sidelined due to a prolonged suspension. Former Gunners youth player Josh Dasilva is uncertain for the match due to a thigh injury, and Keane Lewis-Potter and Mikkel Damsgaard are also questionable. Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, and Kevin Schade are also ruled out for the Bees.

For Arsenal, recent away struggles contrast with their earlier season form. Having won only one of their last five away contests, the Gunners aim to rectify their away performance. Despite their recent setbacks, Arsenal has enjoyed success at Brentford's ground, securing a 3-0 win in September 2022 and a 1-0 EFL Cup victory in September.

Aaron Ramsdale is set to make his first Premier League start in over two-and-a-half months as David Raya, the Brentford loanee, is ineligible to play against his parent club. Manager Mikel Arteta faces challenges with Vieira serving a three-match domestic ban, Emile Smith Rowe, Jurrien Timber, and Thomas Partey sidelined due to injuries, and uncertainties around the availability of Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Ben White, and Cedric Soares.

Brentford vs Arsenal Tips

Jensen Under 28.5 Passes

With the Dane playing in a midfield three most likely accompanied by Vitaly Janelt and the main distributor Christian Norgaard, he can breeze through games and not see too much of the ball when facing tough opposition like Arsenal.

In his last three games where Brentford have seen significantly less of the ball – Liverpool 41%, Chelsea 31% and Manchester United 36% - he went under this 28.5 line on all three occasions with an average of 21.33 passes per game. It's likely this game will take a similar course, with Arsenal dominating possession, and considering how Arsenal's opposing central midfielders also often going under this line, I would have his pass line much closer to 22-24.

Trossard To Score A Header

Now you may look at this and laugh, as it seems ludicrous to be backing a 5ft6 Belgian to score a header, however, 66/1 seems overpriced for reasons I shall mention.

This is a bet I'll only be playing if he starts in the striker role, and that’s simply because no striker should be 66/1 to score a header, it's just an outrageous price. The likes of Jarod Bowen who've moved to a central role of late for West Ham has a similar profile to Trossard and also netted with his head in his last match vs Forest at a huge price. Trossard, however, actually netted with his head against a tall Burnley side last time out and given that lone striker role again could see a huge return!
