Burn City Best Bets: Eastern Conference Teams That Will Hit The Over on Wins

The start of the NBA season is eight days away. It is time to put in your season long bets for the year. One of the most fun bets to root for is the over on a over/under total. Here are the teams that will go over their projected win total.

Teams that will hit the Over

• Atlanta Hawks 41.5 Wins. First Full Season with new head coach Quin Synder, they are set to make a big jump up in wins.
• Boston Celtics 54.5 Wins. The new look Celtics will wreck havoc on opposing team’s offenses and find themselves near 60 wins.
• Charlotte Hornets 31.5 Wins. Last season this team lacked talent with LaMelo Ball missing most of the year due to injury. If he is healthy along with Gordon Hayward this team should be competitive and get to 35 wins.
• Cleveland Cavaliers 50.5 Wins. This may seem a bit high for a team that lost in the first round of the playoffs but they did win 51 games last season. They added Max Strus to go along with Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell. Cleveland had the number one defense last year. That defense combined with the improved offense will lead to this team winning at least 51 games.
• Indiana Pacers 38.5 Wins. The Pacers have a very talented team that will be better this year. The addition of Bruce Brown and Obi Toppin to go along with Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner, and others will have this team well over 38.5 wins.
• Milwaukee Bucks 53.5 Wins. The Milwaukee Bucks made a big change to their roster by trading away Jrue Holiday and Grayson Allen in a three team deal to get Damian Lillard from the Portland Trailblazers. The addition of Lillard will improve their offense immensely while not negatively affecting their great defense in a major way. Milwaukee should win at least 55 games.
• New York Knicks 45.5 Wins. The Knicks won 47 games last season and added more depth in the off-season. Donte DiVincenzo along with their other bench players Josh Hart and Immanuel Quickly will help New York win a lot of regular season games.
• Orlando Magic 37.5 Wins. The Magic have a young team with lots of talent including Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, Markelle Fultz, and others. The addition of veteran Joe Ingles to go along with emerging talent will make this team better. Don’t be shocked if this team is in the play-in tournament at year’s end.
