Caleb Williams, Max Duggan and Stetson Bennett are college football Heisman Trophy candidates for 2022. The winner will be announced in a few days. The top players have already played all the games and snaps that will matter when it comes to the Heisman trophy voting. They have no more games to play. Only three players in contention for the award got the opportunity to make a final impression in Week 13.

Georgia Bulldogs QB Stetson Bennett completed 23-of-29 passes for 274 yards and four touchdowns in the SEC championship game against LSU. Bennett finished the season with 3,425 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also had seven rushing touchdowns.

CJ Stroud is a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. He has never won or played in a conference championship game. Last year he finished fourth. He is expected to finish higher in the voting this year. Max Duggan led TCU to a comeback against Kansas State. Duggen finished with 251 yards passing, 110 yards rushing, and two touchdowns. He is ranked No. 2 in the college football Heisman Trophy rankings.

Duggan started the season as the backup quarterback for TCU. He took over in the first game for an injured Chandler Morris and guided the team to an unblemished regular season. Duggan finished the year with 3,321 passing yards, 30 touchdown passes, and four interceptions.

Caleb Williams is the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. He has a great season and is a good candidate for the award. His team lost the Pac-12 Championship Game against Utah. He passed for 4,075 yards, ran for 372 yards and scored a school-record 47 touchdowns this season. The team also committed only five turnovers. They lost 23-0 to Utah, which knocked them out of the College Football Playoff.
