From the District to Oklahoma to LA: D.C. native Caleb Williams in line to win Heisman Trophy

Caleb Williams is a D.C. native and a high school quarterback at Gonzaga High School. He played as a freshman at Oklahoma and then at USC. The 20-year-old is one of four finalists for the Heisman Trophy, which is given to the best college football player in the nation. If he wins, he will be the first winner from the Washington area. He was named The Associated Press college player of the year on Thursday. His high-school coach Randy Trivers coached him in highschool. In high schools, Williams scored 37 touchdowns with his arm and legs.
