Capitals vs. Islanders: Date, Time, Betting Odds, Streaming, More

The Washington Capitals played arguably one of their best games of the season in last night’s 4-2 win over the New Jersey Devils. Behind goals from recently called up Nicolas Aube Kubel and Beck Malenstyn as well as two goals from Evgeny Kuznetsov, the Capitals withstood a third period Devils comeback without two of their top players in Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier.

Now the Capitals look to continue the momentum in the second leg of a weekend back to back as they take on the New York Islanders. With last night’s win the Capitals improved their record to 6-4-2 with 14 points.

They are one point behind the third place Devils and two points behind the second place Carolina Hurricanes in the Metropolitan Division. In the Wild Card they’re a point behind the third place Buffalo Sabres and two points behind the second place Toronto Maple Leafs.
