Cavs' J.B. Bickerstaff reacts to sports betting becoming legal in Ohio
Ohio legalized sports betting last Sunday. Many other states could follow suit in 2024. There are concerns that games could be fixed. Bickerstaff is not opposed to sports gambling being legal in the state. He thinks it's important to educate players and coaches about it. He doesn't want to give out injury news to reporters during pregame sessions. The league would not change its rules to accommodate that. It's more official now. Sports gambling has been legal since 1931 in Las Vegas. In Ohio it became legal last year. A lot of sports websites and apps offer sports bets. They are very popular. Some of them are already available.
