Cecil B. DeMille Stakes Betting Preview

Cecil B. DeMille Stakes is taking place this Sunday at Del Mar Racecourse. The prize pool is $100,000. There will be a field of nine two-year-olds running.

First Peace broke their maiden last out at Santa Anita. Mike Smith hasn't been riding a lot but is winning at a nice clip of 20%. Trainer Mark Glatt is wining in 17% of his graded stakes entries this year.

Ah Jeez was claimed after their last win and is getting leading jockey JJ Hernandez onboard. JJ is winning at 30% this year and he's jumping on for Leandro Mora who's winning with 33%. Ah Jeezy's speed figures aren't that of a graded stakes winner, but they seem to be consistent enough to finish in the money and win if no one else shows up.

Game Time took three tries to break their maiden, but they have run second on this turf course previously. Umberto Rispoli is turning around his meet and does his best riding on the turf. John Sadler is winning at 18% in graded stakes this year.
