All of the last ten Jim Dandy winners have last raced in the Belmont Stakes. Alpha won straight from the Kentucky Derby in 2012. Five of last 10 winners came out of Bel Mont Stake. Dwyer and BelMont Derby are last-out starts for JimDandy starters in recent years.

Jim Dandy Stakes is the ninth race on an 11-race card at Saratoga. The card also features the Alfred G. Vanderbilt (G1), an older-horse sprint that features Jackie’s Warrior.

Saratoga Race Course is the oldest organized sporting venue in the United States. John Hunter, who became the first chairman of The Jockey Club, and William R. Travers built the horse racing track in 1864. The main dirt track has a 1 1/8 mile circumference, the Mellon Turf Course 1-mile, inner turf track 7 furlongs, there is also the Oklahoma Track.

The Jim Dandy Stakes takes place on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 5:37 p.m. Eastern time at Saratoga Race Course in Saratsog Springs, New York. Epicenter is the morning line favorite in the 2022 JimDandy. Early Voting is 9-5 and Zandon is 2-1.
