Celtics vs. Kings best bet and pick for Tuesday, March 21 (Lay points with Boston)

The Boston Celtics are back in the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, for now, after the Philadelphia 76ers lost on Monday night.

Boston can add to its lead with a win on Tuesday, and the team is favored on the road against the Sacramento Kings.

Robert Williams III is not listed on the injury report for Boston, a huge addition back into the team’s lineup.

Meanwhile the Kings are playing the second game of a back-to-back after falling behind early against the Utah Jazz on Monday and eventually coming up short to end their road trip.

Does Boston hand the Kings back-to-back losses?

Here’s a look at the odds and my best bet for this matchup:

Celtics vs. Kings odds, spread and total

Celtics vs. Kings prediction and pick

The Kings have been terrific this season, but this is a brutal back-to-back after being in Utah on Monday night.

Sacramento is just 5-4 ATS as a home underdog and 7-5 ATS on the second night of a back-to-back this season, which could be problematic against a healthy Boston team.

The Celtics are 18-10 when Williams III is in the lineup this season, and they are coming in with a major rest advantage after last playing on Saturday.

Kevin Huerter missed the Kings’ game on Monday, and the team may sit some players in this matchup in the second night of a back-to-back. Boston being five-point favorite signals to me that the Kings may not be at full strength.

I’ll roll with Boston to cover on Tuesday.
