Week 15 of the NFL season kicks off with a Thursday night showdown between two AFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders. Each team has struggled as of late and comes into tonight's matchup with questions at the quarterback position.

For Vegas, the question lies in Aidan O'Connell's talent. After signing Jimmy Garoppolo in the offseason, the Raiders have since turned to the fourth-round rookie from Purdue. Through seven games in 2023, O'Connell has just one more touchdowns than interceptions. That ineffectiveness has many wondering whether the Raiders should turn to veteran Brian Hoyer. The Raiders have announced that O'Connell will get the nod, but this could be his last chance to prove himself worthy of the starting role.

The Chargers' quarterback situation is much more unfortunate. After a tremendous thirteen games from Justin Herbert, the former sixth overall pick fractured his index finger on his throwing hand, forcing him to miss the rest of the season. The Chargers will now rely on Easton Stick, who has never started a game in his nearly four years in the NFL.

With the Raiders coming off a shutout loss to the Minnesota Vikings and the Chargers opting to ride with Stick, there may not be much hope that either team will find the endzone. Regardless, here are the best anytime touchdown bets for Thursday Night Football.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Gerald Everett (+380)

Inexperienced quarterbacks tend to lean on their big men down the middle of the field. In last week's game, Stick targeted Everett four times. That may not seem like a lot, but it was third to Austin Ekeler (5) and Keenan Allen (10), and the latter is out. The Raiders boast a solid secondary, meaning this matchup should create more looks for guys like Everett and Ekeler short. So, why not bet Ekeler then? You could, but Everett's +360 odds would pay out much better than Ekeler's +135 odds.

Los Angeles Raiders WR Davante Adams (+170)

I get it. I don't trust Aidan O'Connell to get this man the ball either, but with running back Josh Jacobs potentially out for this game, the Raiders will need their rookie quarterback to perform if they want any chance of winning.

The Chargers have allowed five receiving touchdowns to wide receivers over their last five games too. Sure, Jakobi Meyers is always a threat to steal goal-line targets, but Meyers has scored just once through the air in the team's last six games.

Adams is still the team's No. 1 option. He's received double-digit targets in three of his last four games. The Chargers secondary is not good. There's plenty of reason to feel good about Adams' touchdown chances.

We all saw what happened last week with the Raiders against Minnesota. With only three days to prepare for this game, we might see another low-scoring affair in this one. Yes, the Chargers' defense is not as stout as the Vikings, but the Raiders had just three plays in the Vikings' red zone and not one came closer than the ten-yard line.

The Chargers defense is bad, but not so bad that they're guaranteed to give up a touchdown. After all, they did shut out the Patriots a few weeks ago, and the Raiders aren't too far off from their friends in Foxborough. As is the case with any NFL game nowadays, there is usually at least one touchdown in every game. But each of these teams has had at least one game without one in the last month. Who says it can't happen again?
