Chelsea vs Arsenal Odds & Picks

Arsenal showed they're one of the EPL's best when they knocked off Man City, and now they'll turn their attention to a Chelsea team that's just struggling to stay healthy. Our soccer betting picks believe the road team will prevail.

Saturday sees Chelsea vs Arsenal with both teams finding themselves in very different places in the Premier League. The visiting Gunners enter the weekend second in the Premier League and still reveling in a famous victory over Man City, while Chelsea are in the bottom half of the table and look disjointed. Not surprisingly, Arsenal is a road favorite in the EPL odds.

This isn’t how the Mauricio Pochettino era was meant to start at Stamford Bridge, but he’s one of the most talented managers in the game and should be able to turn it around. Will that start this Saturday? Don’t miss our Chelsea vs Arsenal EPL predictions and free betting picks.

Chelsea vs Arsenal best odds

EPL predictions for Chelsea vs Arsenal

Saturday gives us eight Premier League games, the pick of which has to be Chelsea vs Arsenal. Both teams came into this Premier League season with huge expectations and hope. For Arsenal, there were dreams that they could go one step further than last season and win their first title in a generation. They entered this week second place in the Premier League table, but it’s still very much on.

For Chelsea, the expectations were less clear, but with Mauricio Pochettino in charge of the club and Todd Boehly spending eye-watering sums of money in the transfer market, there was real hope that Stamford Bridge would be back amongst the Premier League’s elite again. It hasn’t quite worked out like that yet, with Chelsea coming into this weekend 11th in the table.

It’s not all their fault, admittedly. While it takes a long time for a team to gel with that many new singings, it’s made a lot harder when that team is suffering an incredible run of injuries. At least four big names are missing this one with another six potential starts also questionable to play. Under that pressure, it’s no surprise that Pochettino is yet to get his Chelsea team playing to their best.

Our best bet for this game is a +130 wager that feels like huge value, and that bet is of course for Arsenal to win. It’s not often that you get plus-money odds on a team who are battling for the Premier League title to win, and when you do, it’s worth backing them.

Part of the reason that these odds are so big is that Chelsea are the opposition, and despite just three wins in the Premier League this season, they are a big name. Would Arsenal be the same price to win against either Crystal Palace or West Ham?

One question mark around Arsenal is the fitness of William Saliba and Bukayo Saka, two of their key players who are both doubts to play in this game. That said, I think having had two weeks off to recuperate, it’s likely that we see both in action on Saturday.

Saliba playing is a huge boost to an Arsenal team, especially when Chelsea have only managed 11 goals in eight Premier League games so far. They’re not great in attack, and the Frenchman will only make Arsenal less likely to concede.

Likewise, Saka is the team’s key attacking player, and his pace and directness will cause Levi Colwill issues. Colwill is a great player, but I’m not convinced he’s a natural left back and Saka will really test him.

Arsenal are unbeaten in the Premier League this season, are fresh off beating Man City, and have won the last three league meetings between these teams. Back the Gunners to keep up their form and take three points back to North London.

Chelsea vs Arsenal same-game parlay

Arsenal moneyline

Bukayo Saka to score or assist

Conor Gallagher Over 0.5 fouls

It’s only +260, but I think you’re getting great odds on this Same Game Parlay for Chelsea vs Arsenal.

First up, we’ll be backing our best bet for the game, which is for Arsenal to win. They haven’t lost at Stamford Bridge since 2018 and come into this match in great form. With the return of Saka and a fit Saliba and Declan Rice, they’ll be stronger than in recent weeks and in a great position to take something from this game.

Speaking of Saka, we’ll also be backing the English forward to either score or assist. He’s Arsenal’s key man, leading the team in goals with four and tied for the lead in assists with two, alongside Gabriel Martinelli. To achieve six goal contributions in just seven Premier League games is impressive. He will be essential for Arsenal here.

Finally, we’ll be backing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher to commit at least one foul in the game.

Gallagher is one of six Chelsea players who have played every single Premier League game this season, quite a surprise given that Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo — both central midfielders — joined the team this summer. They haven’t been able to be consistently fit, which has opened the door for Gallagher, who has arguably one of the team’s best players. That said, his no-nonsense midfield style does result in rash challenges, and so far this season he’s averaged two fouls per game.

Given the quality of the opposition in Arsenal, I think it’s a very fair assumption to believe he’ll get Over 0.5 fouls here.

Chelsea vs Arsenal side and Over/Under analysis

My best bet for the game is Arsenal at +130, so it’ll be no surprise that I recommend it as the best way to go if betting the moneyline. Arsenal are on form, have a great record at Stamford Bridge, and we simply haven’t seen Chelsea be consistent enough to back them. That said, you can get Pochettino’s men at +210 if you do fancy them, or +240 on the draw.

In terms of goals, the books have this as a pick’em with -111 available on either Over 2.5 goals or Under 2.5 goals. I don’t have a strong preference, but I’d lean towards the Under.

It’s worth knowing that while Arsenal have hit Over 2.5 in 62.5% of Premier League games this year, that drops to just one in three when they’ve been away from the Emirates. Likewise, Over 2.5 goals has landed just once in four Chelsea games at Stamford Bridge this season, and that was a 3-0 win over a poor and newly-promoted Luton team.
