Chelsea vs Brentford preview

Mauricio Pochettino's men are gathering a bit of momentum at present, going for games unbeaten.

Following three successive wins, the Blues looked in command last week and will be desperately disappointed to throw away a 2-0 lead at home to Arsenal and drop two points.

But a few weeks ago, Chelsea wouldn't have been given much of a chance against the Gunners, showing they're on an upward trajectory.

Now, they entertain a Brentford side who ended their six-game winless run in emphatic style last time out against Burnley.

That 3-0 win eased some of the pressure that started to build on Thomas Frank, after dropped points against Nottingham Forest, Everton and Bournemouth in that run.

Chelsea have failed to beat Brentford the last three times they've met - including wins for the Bees in their last two Stamford Bridge visits.
