Chelsea are unbeaten in pre-season so far, beating Wrexham 5-0 in the Florida Cup, Brighton 4-3 and Fulham 2-0 in their victories - as well as drawing 1-1 with Newcastle in an impressive summer.
It's difficult to gauge how much pre-season friendlies can really indicate how they will do in the league but it is telling they've bypassed two league rivals and did well against Newcastle.

Similarly, Nkunku has been a sensational signing for the London side having already netted a 90th minute goal against Wrexham, a goal against Brighton and another against Fulham on Sunday in the Premier League summer series.
Friendlies are obviously different in complexion to how they're played but he looks like he could slot straight into the Premier League having been with RB Leipzig between 2019 and 2023.
He's a proven goalscorer and although some players struggle in a new league he looks to have the ability no matter what, which is what Chelsea have been missing lately.
The 25-year-old scored 47 goals for the Bundesliga outfit in just 119 matches and that's evident in his pre-season which he looks to continue against a side he's very well used to playing.
