Chiefs vs. Packers line, odds and predictions: Our experts pick Kansas City

The Green Bay Packers look to earn their third straight upset victory as they welcome the Kansas City Chiefs to Lambeau Field for “Sunday Night Football.” Coming off a Thanksgiving Day upset of their division rival Detroit Lions, the Packers are on the playoff bubble at 5-6. Green Bay has won back-to-back games and three of its last four.

Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday. The game will be televised on NBC.

Jordan Love started the season rough but has turned things around. He had his third straight game of more than 250 yards passing and multiple touchdowns versus Detroit. Before last week, Love hadn’t thrown for over 250 yards since Week 4.

Both Packers running backs are battling injuries, with Aaron Jones dealing with a knee issue and AJ Dillon a groin issue. Dillon will play, but Jones is out.

The Chiefs offense started slowly against the Raiders last week and trailed 14-0. But thanks to two touchdowns from Patrick Mahomes and Isiah Pacheco, still finished the game with 31 points. Kansas City sits just outside the top ten in points per game. He’s thrown more than two touchdowns twice this season and thrown for more than 300 yards in just three games. Mahomes looks as good as ever but has been plagued by inconsistent wide receiver play.

Thanks to one of the league’s best defenses, the Chiefs have been winning without Mahomes putting up video-game numbers. They allow the third-fewest points per game at 16.5. The Packers defense has also played well this season, allowing just 20.4 points per game, tied for tenth-fewest.
