Clemson football: Cade Klubnik gets early Heisman praise
The Heisman Memorial Trophy is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in college football. USC quarterback Caleb Williams will win the trophy in 2022.
Cade Klubnik and Will Shipley are considered to be the best backfields in the country. Klubsnik is third on USA Today's early Heisman favorites for 2023.
Cade Klubnik replaced DJ Uiagalelei in the ACC championship game against North Carolina and threw for 279 yards. Klubski will take over as the obvious starter and team up with star running back Will Shipley.
Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence were snubbed of the Heisman. Klubnik could be the one to bring the award home to Clemson.
