Clemson Football: Tigers open as heavy favorites over Duke

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program have a lot to prove in 2023, with a roster with the talent to do so. 

The Tigers have a lot to look forward to in 2023, with a new starting quarterback in Cade Klubnik, a new offensive coordinator in Garrett Riley, and a new season to make a run at the college football playoff. After watching the Tigers fall just short of making the playoff in 2022 with their loss to South Carolina, there is a lot to be hopeful for as a fan. 

A new season means a new opportunity, which starts on the road against a Duke Blue Devils team that surprised many in 2022. Behind star quarterback Riley Leonard, the Blue Devils are a dangerous team. People love to look ahead, and that includes betting lines. 

Early lines for both the Duke and Florida State matchups have been released, with Clemson opening as -11.0 point favorites over the Blue Devils for their first game of the season.

This matchup with Duke is an interesting one that will showcase two of the best quarterbacks in the ACC.
