Tthe Central Michigan Chippewas and Western Michigan Broncos clash for the Victory Cannon as part of a Tuesday night MAC tripleheader, and we offer our best Central Michigan vs. Western Michigan prediction based on the best college football odds.

Central Michigan, with a 5-4 record and a 3-2 record in the MAC, has shown a pattern of alternating wins and losses over the past five weeks. Their home performance has been strong as they boast a 4-0 record, with a recent 37-31 victory over Northern Illinois in Week 10. However, their road record is less favorable, with only one win in four away games. Interestingly, the Chippewas have been successful in two of their last three visits to Kalamazoo.

Western Michigan (3-6, 2-3 MAC) ended a three-game losing streak by dominating Eastern Michigan with a convincing 45-21 win in Week 10. This victory marked its first road triumph of the season. The Broncos have secured victories in four out of their last five encounters against the Chippewas.

As part of our Week 11 college football predictions, here is our best Central Michigan vs. Western Michigan prediction and our college football picks (odds via our best college football betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Central Michigan vs. Western Michigan prediction: Week 11

Western Michigan -3.5 (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The lookahead line for this game was Western Michigan -3, and although both teams are coming off wins, Western Michigan’s emphatic 24-point road victory deservedly moved the line in its favor. The win ended a stretch of dominance by the Eagles, as Eastern Michigan had won four straight games in the rivalry by double digits.

Western Michigan entered last week averaging 23.9 points per game and 375.6 yards per game but found the proper formula to expose Eastern Michigan’s weak run defense, as running back Jalen Buckley ran for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Buckley was somewhat of a forgotten man over the three weeks prior, as he averaged just 11 carries per game, and the team failed to top 21 points in two of those games.

The Broncos are 2-1 and average 37 points per game when Buckley has 25 or more carries. He should be the focal point of the offense when facing a Chippewas defense that entered their Week 8 game against Ball State ranked 110th or worse in Quality Drives allowed, Finishing Drives, Rush Success, Pass Success, and Havoc. Those defensive metrics will only worsen after allowing 506 total yards to Northern Illinois in Week 10, a poor performance considering the Huskies had not topped 302 yards in any of their three prior games.

This is a confident four-star play, as the Broncos' defense also comes in with plenty of momentum after forcing two safeties and scoring a defensive touchdown last week.

Central Michigan vs. Western Michigan best odds

DraftKings, FanDuel, Caesars, bet365 (-110)

This is a pretty sharp line as of Monday, as there isn't a huge difference in the number or juice at any of our best sports betting apps. This would be a no-play at -4 or higher, so we are taking advantage of the -3.5s while they are still offered.

Central Michigan vs. Western Michigan odds

This line has moved heavily, swinging significantly in both directions and ending up in Central Michigan’s favor over the weekend. At FanDuel, the line rose from -3 to -5 and was quickly bet down to -4.5 before plummeting another point further. That was the most fluctuation at any of our best sports betting sites, as DraftKings only lowered a half-point from -4 to -3.5. Western Michigan is 6-3 ATS, while Central Michigan has covered just three of its nine games.

FanDuel is the only sportsbook offering a total of 55.5 (juiced -115 to the Over), while all its competitors are slightly higher at 56. All line movement has gone toward the Over, rising from 55.5 to 56 at DraftKings and a much more substantial increase from 52.5 to 55.5 throughout Sunday at FanDuel. Both teams are profitable to the Under, cashing in six of Western Michigan’s nine games, while Central Michigan’s O/U record is 5-4.
