Coaches Poll prediction: Tennessee's loss opens door to top five

South Carolina upset Tennessee 63-38. The loss shakes things up in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll. Georgia managed just one touchdown in a 16-6 win against Kentucky, Ohio State didn't put Maryland away until the final minute, Michigan beat Illinois 19-17, and TCU beat Baylor 29-28.

Georgia's team is 11-0. Georgia's offense was low. The Bulldogs have scored 16 points in an SEC game twice this year.

Ohio State has been outgained in three of its last four games. The Buckeyes have won each of the last games by at least 13 points.

Michigan beat Baylor 19-17. Jake Moody kicked four field goals in the fourth quarter. Michigan is 11-0.

Sonny Dykes' TCU team is 11-0. TCU came from a 28-20 deficit to beat Baylor.

Southern California beat UCLA 45-42. The Trojans are 10-1 and are expected to finish in the top five. Caleb Williams is expected for the Heisman Trophy.

Tennessee's loss opens door to top five. LSU (9-2) will not get credit for beating Alabama-Birmingham. The Tigers will be boosted in the poll with a win against Texas A&M. Georgia is the toughest test for LSU.

Alabama's last loss against an FCS team came in 1951 against Villanova.

8. Tennessee (9-2) is the favorite to win the award. LSU (8-3) and South Carolina (7-5) are the other two-loss teams in the SEC.

Clemson beat Miami 40-10. North Carolina lost to Georgia Tech. Clemson is 10-1.
