College Football Conference Championship Best Bets

This is my favorite week in the college football season. I'll handicap my favourite bets in Utah-USC, Kansas State-TCU, and Clemson-North Carolina conference championships.

No. 12 Utah Utes (9-3) play No. 4 USC Trojans (11-0) in the Pac-12 Championship. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. ET at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Caleb Williams is a "lock" to win the Heisman Trophy. Utah has appeared in two conference championships since the start of the championship in 2011. The Ute's are 0-2 SU with a -14.5 MoV and -15.3 ATS margin.

The Pac-12 Championship Best Bet is USC Trojans -3 (-105) at DraftKings Sportsbook.

No. 13 Kansas State Wildcats (9-3) are playing for Big XII Championship against No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs (12-0). TCU is a 2.5-point favorite despite an undefeated record and a probable Heisman finalist at quarterback.

TCU won 38-28 at home against Kansas State on October 22. KSU had a 59.0% post-game win expectancy based on net efficiency and more points per opportunity. Will Howard was making his first appearance of the season after relieving an injured QB Adrian Martinez in the first quarter. He is 4-0 SU and ATS with a +28.3 MoV and +23.5 AATS margin this season.

DraftKings reports that nearly 80% of the action is on TCU. Oddsmakers are not moving the spread. The best place to be in sports betting is to bet with the sportsbooks.

No. 10 Clemson Tigers (10-2) and No. 24 North Carolina Tar Heels (9-3) are playing in the ACC Championship on Saturday at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The game is a neutral-site game. Most of the action at DraftKings is on North Carolinians.

UNC has a one-dimensional offense and one of the worst defenses in the country. Clemson's defense is 23rd in sack rate and 11th in third-down conversion rate allowed. UNC's defence is 98th on yards per rush allowed, 85th for third down conversion and 127th overall.

Clemson is 10-5 ATS as favorites of -8 or less vs. conference foes since 2015. The Tigers are 26-17 AATS with a +5.2 ATC margin as favourites vs ACC teams with winning records.
