December is a chaotic month for college football coaches with the offseason’s first transfer portal window in full swing, the Early Signing Period getting underway and the coaching carousel continuing to spin. Amid all of the off-field developments, the nation’s best teams are also still in game preparation mode with their bowl appearances quickly approaching. The College Football Playoff is now just two weeks away, and the rest of the New Year’s Six slate is also right around the corner.

Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama are not immune to opt-outs and transfers, but as Playoff teams, their December has been much quieter from a roster management standpoint than that of their other top-10 counterparts.

Caesars Sportsbook continues to update its lines for each of the New Year’s Six bowls. Showdowns between the Huskies and Longhorns, and Wolverines and Crimson Tide headline the slate as Playoff matchups, while must-see battles between other highly ranked teams round out the slate.
