College Football Parlays: Three plays for CFB Saturday, Week 3

The NCAAF season has already treated fans to exciting games and incredible upsets. More are on deck during Week 3 on Saturday that fans can use to create college football parlays.

There are no ranked team vs. ranked team games on the slate, but there are several intriguing contests from a betting standpoint. With that in mind, here are a few of our college football parlay picks for Saturday's slate.

College Football Parlays: Saturday, Week 3

College football parlays are a lot of fun, and they give you a shot to win a lot of money while risking just a little. But the house's edge is even greater when it comes to parlays. Does that mean you should avoid them?

Of course not. But bettors should do what they can to minimize the risk. To that end, rather than go for the massive payout with five or six-leg parlays, consider keeping them down to two or three legs.

Let's review a few college football parlays (odds via FanDuel):

Parlay No. 1: Florida State-Boston College and Western Kentucky-Ohio State odds

  • Florida State-Boston College, Over 47.5 (-110)
  • Western Kentucky-Ohio State, Under 64.5 (-110)
  • Parlay Odds: +253

Boston College has struggled against lackluster competition. Florida State has one of the best offenses in the country and will be facing a lackluster defense. The Seminoles may go over 47.5 themselves.

Ohio State's offense has yet to click; it's averaging less than 30 PPG. But the defense is playing well and will keep the Western Kentucky offense (46.5 PPG) in check.

The OSU offense will probably score in the high 30s to low 40s. WKU will not make up the difference for the final to go over the total.

A $100 wager will result in a $353 payday, your stake plus $253 in winnings.

Parlay No. 2: Colorado State-Colorado and Wyoming-Texas picks

  • Colorado State-Colorado, Over 60.5 (-110)
  • Wyoming-Texas, Over 49.5 (-110)
  • Parlay Odds: +264

Colorado State's defense will not have an answer for Colorado's aerial attack, but they will score enough in garbage time to push the final score over 60.5 points.

Quinn Ewers will decimate the Cowboys secondary much like he did Alabama's last week. Wyoming's run game could pose a problem, but not enough of one to make the game competitive.

The Longhorns will score in the low 40s, while the Cowboys will score in garbage time to get the final score over 49.5.

A $100 wager will result in a $364 payday, your stake plus $264 in winnings.

Parlay No. 3: CFB Saturday Player Props

  • Shedeur Sanders passing yards, Over 338.5 yards (-114)
  • Jayden Daniels passing yards, Over 248.5 yards (-114)
  • Michael Penix Jr. passing yards, Over 345.5 yards (-114)
  • Parlay Odds: +561

Sanders has thrown for over 900 yards in the season's first two games. Colorado State does not have the kind of defense it will take to slow Sanders down. He'll easily throw for more than 338.5 yards.

Jayden Daniels is one of the better passers in the country. He will take advantage of a Mississippi State defense that surrendered well over 300 yards passing to Arizona.

On paper, the Michigan State defense looks tough (206 total yards allowed per game). But it's one thing to slow down Central Michigan and Richmond and something else entirely to slow down a team like Washington.

Michael Penix Jr. has thrown for 400-plus yards in Huskies first two games. He may not throw for more than 400 yards this time, but he'll go over his listed total (345.5 yards).

A $100 wager will result in a $661 payday, your stake plus $561 in winnings.
