College football rankings: Projecting 2022 Playoff picture after Oregon, UCLA lose in Week 11

No. 6 Oregon lost to Washington 37-34. The result changed the College Football Playoff picture heading into Week 12. Pac-12 saw two teams in playoff contention fall in Week 11. USC is the conference's last one-loss team. No. 4 TCU is unbeaten after a 17-10 victory at No 18 Texas.  Georgia will keep its No 1 spot, Tennessee is a firm No 5 and two-losing LSU will bump up to the No 6 spot.

Oregon and UCLA lost in Week 11.

Georgia won 45-19 at Mississippi State. The Bulldogs clinched their spot in the SEC championship game. Georgia won the national championship last season.

Ohio State is still No. 2 in the rankings behind Georgia. The Buckeyes beat Indiana 56-14. Miyan Williams had 147 of the 190 rushing yards in first half, but he left with a leg injury. Dallan Hayden stepped in with 102 yards and a TD. C.J. Stroud played well, and the defense had four sacks.

Blake Corum had 103 of his 162 rushing yards at halftime in Michigan's 34-3 victory against Nebraska. J.J. McCarthy struggled with the down-field passing game without tight end Luke Schoonmaker. The Wolverines limited the Huskers to 147 total yards. Michigan closes the home schedule against the Illini.

The TCU Horned Frogs beat No. 18 Texas 17-10. The team is now ranked No 4. It will take a Big 12 loss to knock them out of the picture.

Tennessee beat Missouri 66-24. The Vols are out of the SEC championship game. They play South Carolina and Vanderbilt remaining.  They might do it again against South Caroline and

Harold Perkins had four sacks in LSU's 13-10 victory at Arkansas. Perkins forced a fumble with 1:19 remaining.

Travis Dye suffered a season-ending leg injury. Austin Jones is the next back up. The Trojans beat Colorado 55-17 on Friday night. They play at No. 9 UCLA and at no. 20 Notre Dame.

Clemson beat Louisville 31-16 in Week 11. The Tigers have a realistic path to the CFP despite the loss to Notre Dame. They play Miami, South Carolina and a potential game against North Carolina.

North Carolina beat Wake Forest 36-34. The Tar Heels have a tough remaining schedule. They play Georgia Tech and NC State. North Carolina is ahead of Alabama because the Crimson Tide have two losses.

The Crimson Tide are the fourth SEC team in the top 10. They preserved their slim chances with a 30-24 victory at No. 11 Ole Miss. The team's road losses to Tennessee and LSU are going to be too much to overcome.
