College Football Week 13 Odds: Predicting Top Bets Against the Spread

The Colorado Buffaloes have been one of the easiest teams to score on over the last month of the college football season.

That is a good thing for an angry Utah Utes team in Week 13, as they try to forget their loss to the Arizona Wildcats.

Utah stumbled in the last month as well, but it still owns a 5-1 home record and a strong set of defensive performances inside Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Colorado has one game left before Deion Sanders can revamp his roster again through the transfer portal.

The Buffaloes were blown out on the road last week and a similar fate could await them in Utah.

Utah is one of a few double-digit favorites who can be trusted in similar situations in Week 13. The Ole Miss Rebels and Memphis Tigers also face teams who can't wait for the season to come to a close.

Colorado has been outscored 190-123 during its five-game losing streak, which began with the overtime defeat to the Stanford Cardinal on October 13.

The Buffaloes hit rock bottom in Week 12 with a 56-14 loss to the Washington State Cougars in which their offensive line could stop any pressure.

Colorado's interior issues will be exploited again on Saturday against a tenacious Utah defense that has 31 sacks and eight forced fumbles.

Utah will be motivated to finish the regular season on a high note after it suffered a blowout loss of its own at Arizona last week.

Saturday's loss finished a run of four matchups against ranked teams in five games, a stretch that featured the Utes' only home loss to the Oregon Ducks.

We should not dwell on Utah's loss to Oregon, but rather focus on its other home results to prove what it can do against Colorado.

The Utes earned all five of their home victories by holding opponents to 14 points or fewer. Their last home triumph was a 55-3 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Utah is expected to cruise and a commanding win could help improve its status in the Pac-12's bowl selection hierarchy.

The Egg Bowl has a reputation of being one of the strangest games of Rivalry Week.

The Thanksgiving battle between Ole Miss and the Mississippi State Bulldogs was split over the last four years.

Only one of the last four Egg Bowls was decided by a double-digit margin of victory.

Ole Miss has the potential to add a rare multi-score win to its rivalry win haul because of the situation at Mississippi State.

The Bulldogs fired head coach Zach Arnett two weeks ago and the normal roster turnover that comes with a coaching change is imminent.

Mississippi State has not played well within the SEC. Five of its six conference defeats were by double digits and its lone league win came in a 7-3 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Ole Miss is better equipped to win a football game right now, and it has motivation of its own to win in dominant fashion because it has a chance to get into the New Years' Six with a victory and a few losses from teams above it in the Top 25.

    Friday, Noon ET, ESPN

The Temple Owls have been equally as bad within the American Athletic Conference as Mississippi State in the SEC.

Five of Temple's six AAC defeats have come by double digits and its defense has been unable to stop any offense this season.

Temple allowed at least 27 points in each of its eight losses and it gave up over 40 points in five of those contests.

Memphis' offense should be salivating at the prospect of playing Temple's defense.

Tigers quarterback Seth Henigan has 3,266 passing yards and 24 touchdowns and running back Blake Watson has 13 rushing scores.

Watson is 50 yards away from the 1,000-yard mark, so he should see plenty of touches as the Tigers break open a big advantage against the Owls.
