Colorado football: Buffs keeping roster intact, for now

Colorado's roster has remained intact after Karl Dorrell was fired. Freshman punter Ashton Logan was dismissed from the team by Dorrel for a violation of team rules two weeks ago. Mike Sanford talked to all of the players about their future. CU's team is 0-5 and will play California on Saturday at noon. i in the NCAA board of directors adopted transfer portal windows this fall. For CU, that window opened up last week and closes on November 1. The players have 60 days to put their names into the portal. They have 30 days after a coach is fired during the season.

Colorado's game at Oregon State on Oct. 22 has been moved to 6 p.m. MT on the Pac-12 Network. The game is part of the family weekend. Van Wells is the first true freshman to start as many as three games in a season on CU's offensive line since 2007.
