Column: Wisconsin football’s holiday wishlist

Wisconsin football is coming off their most turbulent season in decades. The Badgers lost two of three trophy games and the Axe for the second straight season.

The new $300 million practice facility is being planned for Madison. The facility at the McClain Center is an eyesore compared to the historic Camp Randall. Wisconsin's wide receiver talent is lacking. Longo's new air raid offense is not going to be successful. There are no receivers in the Badgers' 2023 class. The team needs a true alternate uniform. It could take time, but Longe could build something special in Madison, especially in his wide receivers room. He should choose black.   The team also needs to improve its uniforms. They need to do away with the white and blue colors.

Wisconsin's offensive line took a step back in 2022. The team fielded seven different combinations of offensive lineman throughout the season. Logan Brown's fall from grace didn't help. Wisconsin's line is still deep and talented, but they need continuity to play to the standard of O-Line U.
