CONFIRMED: Chris Ashton is back in the Gallagher Premiership

Chris Ashton has signed a short-term contract with Leicester Tigers. The 34-year-old joins from Worcester Warriors. Ashton previously played for Harlequins, Sale Sharks, Saracens, Northampton Saints and Toulon in the Gallagher Premiership and French Top14 league.

He is the leading try-scorer in European Champions Cup history with 40 and third on the all-time list for tries scored in Premiership Rugby with 89. He made his Test debut for the England in the Six Nations in 2010. His previous clubs include Harlequins, Sale Sharks, Saracens and Northampton Saints. In his time in France he broke the record for try scored during a single season with 24 tries in 23 appearances.
