Cue Card and Thistlecrack gear up for King George VI Chase as trainer Colin Tizzard prepares to watch his two 'beautiful horses' battle for victory

Cue Card won the King George VI Chase at Kempton last year. Silviniaco Conti is a dual KingGeorge winner. Thistlecrack is an eight-year-old late developer. If successful, Tom Scudamore will become the first novice to win the £200,000 race. Colin Tizzard is the trainer of Cue Card. He won his third Betfair Chase last month at Haydock. Tizzard has a soft spot for Cue card. The trainer believes Thistlecrac will be a tough opponent. It is possible that the winner of the race will come from the same stable as the Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Kauto Star.

Cue Card and Thistlecrack are going to race in King George VI Chase. Colin Tizzard's horse is the favourite to win. Josses Hill and Tea For Two are also in the race. Lizzie Kelly will ride Tea for Two. Thistlecrac is only his fourth steeplechase race but is overloaded with natural talent.
