Matty Beniers, Nick Alberga and Marco Rossi are the top rookies for the Calder Trophy. Thomas Bordeleau from the San Jose Sharks is a sleeper pick. Frank Seravalli has his eye on Marco Rossi from Minnesota Wild. He would like to see him playing on the fourth line or on wing. Frank is also interested in Matt Boldy and some other players that have stepped into the Minnesota team recently. They have supported them well. The Wild have a salary cap.

Tyler Yaremchuk likes Beniers, Mason MacTavish, Owen Power, Rossi and Kent Johnson. Tyler is looking for players who build their way into skill roles throughout the season.

Frank Seravalli likes Kent Johnson's skill and creativity. He would like to see Johnson playing with players like Gaudreau, Voracek and Patrik Laine.
