Down Royal under starters orders for bumper November Festival of Racing
The November Festival of Racing will take place on November 4-5 at Down Royal Racecourse. The event is sponsored by Ladbrokes and has a prize fund of €425,500. Friday's action will see the richest hurdle race to take take places in Northern Ireland - The WKD Hurdle. On Saturday the Lad brock's Grade 1 Champion Chase will be held. General admission is £20, children under 14 go free. Tickets are available at the turnstiles on arrival. The first Grade One Chase of the new National Hunt in 2021 will have a field of five runners who all tasted success at Cheltenham Festival in the past.
