Draft Notes: Where the Blackhawks Could be at Season's End.
The Chicago Blackhawks are currently a .500 team. The team is 11-3-22. They have the 11th overall pick in the NHL draft on June 28th in Nashville. The last 20 years of the lottery shows that half of teams with the worst record have won the #1 pick. In 2023, the rules change and the team with 11 best odds can win the top spot. Chicago is currently playing hard. GM Kyle Davidson will make a tough decision. He needs to grow the chemistry. It's been 2 decades of writing and debating about the Blackhawks' draft strategy.
