Texas Rangers Know Odds for First MLB Draft Lottery
The Texas Rangers finished with a 68-94 record in 2022. They have a 5.5 percent chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft. The teams with the three worst records in 2021 have the best chance (16. 5 percent each) to get the top pick. If the Rangers end up with No 10, it will be their third Top 10 pick after the last five drafts. MLB is implementing a draft lottery system for the first time to set the picks. It will take place later this year at the Winter Meetings.
