New Jersey sportsbooks stopped betting on the Citrus Bowl between Purdue and LSU on Friday. The reason is that an individual associated with the team is in violation of state regulations. On Dec. 15, Purdue announced that Drew Brees was joining the coaching staff as an interim assistant. Brees played for Purdue for three seasons before starting his NFL career in 2001. PointsBet recently ended its partnership with Brees because of his involvement with Purdue.
