Dubai Preview: Switzerland can neutralize opponents

Dubawi S. (G3) is the third race of the day. Last year's Golden Shaheen winner #11 Switzerland returns to racing.
Desert Wisdom is the favorite in the Al Maktoum Challenge R1 (G2) at 11:20 a.m. ET. He beat all but Japanese raider Bathrat Leon in Godolphin Mile ( G2). Algiers is his toughest opponent. Prince Eiji is a contender after his victory at Meydan Dec. 1. Discovery Island, Golden Goal and Secret Ambition are also in contention.
Race 6 is Al Fahidi Fort S. (G2), 1,400 meters (about seven furlongs), turf. #11 Noble Truth is the main contender. Last year's Jebel Hatta winner Alfareeq is a big threat. Al Suhail is also a threat, having finished second in the National Day Cup at Abu Dhabi Dec. 4.
