Eastern Michigan vs. Akron Prediction: Eagles Look to Soar Past the Zips on Tuesday Night

Samson Evans is the most productive player for Eastern Michigan's offense. He is tied for the MAC lead with nine touchdowns on the ground and is fourth with 722 rushing yards. The Eagles have used two quarterbacks this season, mainly due to injuries. They are averaging 139.1 yards per game, 3.7 yards a carry and scoring 17 times on ground. Akron is giving up 6.5 yards on play and 400 yards to conference foes.

DJ Irons is the leading rusher for Akron, but he has just nine touchdowns compared to six interceptions. EMU's Evans is averaging more than 90 rushing yards per game by himself. Shocky Jacques-Louis, Alex Adams, and Daniel George are the top three wide receivers in the MAC. Jose Ramirez is tied for second in MAC with eight sacks and 12.5 tackles for a loss. The Eagles have just 14 sacks this season, the second fewest inMAC.
