Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Napoli Odds, Predictions & Betting Tips

The Champions League returns once again this week with Serie A leaders Napoli, travelling to Germany to take on Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday evening. With two teams high on confidence we’re expecting a good game and we’ve once again got Anthony Eadson on hand to provide us with his best bets.

Last season’s Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt are sixth in the Bundesliga table but are just five points behind league leaders Bayern Munich. Off the back of their 2-0 win against Werder Bremen on Saturday, Ole Werner’s side have now won their last five home matches in all competitions.

Napoli are flying at the moment with a 15 point gap between themselves and second placed Inter Milan, as they go in search of their first Scudetto since 1990. Gli Azzurri have just dropped seven points so far from a possible 69 domestically and beat Liverpool to top spot on in their Champions League group that also included Ajax and Rangers.

After their Serie A dominance so far this campaign the bookmakers have made Napoli the 11/10 favourites to get the win in Germany. The draw can be backed at 5/2, while Eintracht Frankfurt can be sided with at 12/5.

Kim Min-Jae Over 0.5 Fouls Committed

Once again, our main play of the evening comes from the player fouls market provided by the good folk over at BetUK and Unibet.

The player we are siding with here is Napoli’s centre-half Kim Min-Jae who we recently tipped up in his game against Roma for him to clear the Over 0.5 foul line, for which he did so in the first five minutes of the game.

The price on offer that day against Roma was 5/6, and we were surprised to see the slightly bigger offering of 9/10 on show in this Champions League last-16 tie. In his last five league outings, Kim’s foul totals read 3,2,2,2,0 and it’s well worth noting that on Tuesday he will be having to help deal with Kolo Muani. Only four players in the Bundesliga have been fouled more times than Muani this season, with the Frenchman drawing an average of 2.3 per game.

Victor Osimhen & Kolo Muani To Score

We’ve also picked out something at a bit more of a price and have opted for two in-form strikers to find the net. Both Betfair and Paddy Power have 8/1 available in their ‘Boosts’ and ‘Power Prices’ section on their match page for both Victor Osimhen and Kolo Muani to score anytime.

Nigerian Victor Osmihen has been a revelation in Serie A this season and is the current top-scorer with 18 goals in just 19 appearances. The 24-year-old has scored in his last seven starts for his club, including bagging a brace in two of those.

Since the turn of the year, Kolo Muani has managed seven goals in seven matches in all competitions for Frankfurt. The World Cup runner-up is a handful for defenders and after being brought off in the second half after his goal on Saturday he should be raring to go in this huge game for Frankfurt.
