Endorsement was a contender for the 2010 Kentucky Derby, but he suffered a right-front condylar fracture a week before the race. He had a successful surgery and returned to the track in December 2011. His trainer, Eoin Harty, is a former top Baffert assistant. Endorsements don't take medication. He has finished in the money in five of his six races since his comeback. In February he set a track record time of 1:42:35. The horse doesn't bleed. It's a very small minority of American thoroughbreds in training that do not race on drugs.
