England can show attacking class

Gareth Southgate’s side have been impressive in qualifying and top the group with 13 points from five matches and a handsome goals tally of 16 for and three against.

They beat Italy 2-1 in Naples in March and in truth could have scored more. A repeat of that showing should be enough to seal a win that would confirm their place at next summer’s finals.

Italy have kept just one clean sheet in their last five and may struggle to contain an England attack that has all manner of creative options.

Harry Kane will be eager to add to his goal tally while the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden can all make and take chances in the final third.

We’re backing England to be up for the clash when the countries meet at Wembley and our opening tip is for Southgate’s men to score over 1.5 goals.

England vs Italy tip 1: England over 1.5 goals @ 17/20 with Unibet

Bellingham hones eye for goal

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been brilliant for club and country, taking his game to the next level by scoring more goals.

He has netted eight times in as many La Liga games and is relishing the new, more attacking role he has been given at the Bernabeu.

Bellingham is beginning to revel in this freedom he finds in the attacking third for England with Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips covering his defensive duties.

He scored in the 3-1 victory at Scotland and we expect him to have at least a shot on target here.

England vs Italy tip 2: Jude Bellingham over 0.5 shots on target @ 4/5 with Unibet

Trippier in for tough contest

Kieran Trippier is set to be a stand-in left-back for England on Tuesday, covering for the injured Luke Shaw and Ben Chilwell.

The 33-year-old has had a consistent start to the season for Newcastle United, performing well in the league and Europe, where the Magpies have defeated PSG and drawn at AC Milan.

Trippier has been booked once this season and was shown five yellow cards last season.

In England’s last meeting with Italy, left-back Luke Shaw was shown two yellow cards and sent off while right-back Kyle Walker was also booked.

Moise Kean and Domenico Berardi can pose Trippier all sorts of problems at Wembley and that could result in the former Spurs man finding his name in the referee’s notebook come full-time.

England vs Italy tip 3: Kieran Trippier to be carded @ 21/5 with Unibet
