Every supposed Huddersfield Town next manager candidate from David Wagner to Michael Carrick
Danny Schofield was dismissed from his position as Huddersfield Town head coach after just eight games of the Championship season. Speculation is rife over who Huddlefield might appoint as Schovert's successor.
David Wagner is out of work after being dismissed by Swiss side Young Boys in March. He guided Huddersfield to the Premier League in his first spell at the club. There is no deal in place as it stands despite persistent speculation.
Anthony Barry is a coach for both Chelsea and Belgium. He also has experience working in the Republic of Ireland national team setup. Barry was assistant to Thomas Tuchel when Chelsea won the Champions League in 2021.
Steven Schumacher is in the frame for the Plymouth Argyle manager's job. The former Bradford City midfielder has coached at Everton, Southport and Bury. He took over at Plymouth when Ryan Lowe left for Preston last December.
Michael Carrick is a former Manchester United and England midfielder. He took caretaker charge after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was dismissed last November. Carick left the club the following month. Alan Nixon reports Carricks is interested in becoming a manager at Huddersfield Town.
