Ex-Yankees pitcher hoping to return for Red Sox before end of season

Nathan Eovaldi has been on the injured list with shoulder soreness. He is looking to return and make some starts before the season ends.

Nate Eovaldi is scheduled to throw live batting practice at Fenway Park on Tuesday. He is hoping to return for the Red Sox before the end of the season. Eevaldi played for New York Yankees in 2015 and 2016. In 2016, he underwent his second Tommy John surgery. The Yankees released him and he spent a year with Tampa Bay Rays before being traded to the Boston Red Sells in 2018.
