Exclusive: X-Factor winner Steve Brookstein set for comeback with Madness musical

Sharon Osbourne quit The X Factor. Steve Brookstein is happy about it. Sharon used to be very nasty to Steve. Cheryl Cole has replaced Sharon. Steve is preparing to make a comeback with a musical. He turns 40 in November. The musical is called Our House. It's a touring production of Our house.

Steve Brookstein was dumped by Simon Cowell after winning The X Factor. He was depressed for two years after the show. His rock is his wife Eileen and their son Hamish. Eileen's dad died three days after their birth. Steve is away working in Aberdeen. He will be based in Scotland for the foreseeable future. Hamishes may play for Scotland. The family may live there permanently. They are close to Eilleen. Her dad sang and played accordion, her uncle played the fiddle. She is also looking after her mum. It's made them closer than ever. Steven was born in Dulwich, London.

Steve Brookstein is returning to the stage with a Madness musical Our House. It's on at Theatre Royal, Glasgow (June 30-July 5) and Edinburgh Playhouse (July 7-12).
