Executive Transactions: Milwaukee Bucks promote CMO Dustin Godsey to Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

The Bucks promoted Chief Marketing Officer DUSTIN GODSEY to Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. Godsey, who has been with the team for over 11 years, previously served as Dir of Marketing for Comcast Spectacor (SBJ).

The Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium tapped current VP/HR KIM MILLER to become their new VP/Community Affairs. Miller was first hired by the organization last year, coming over from RISE, the racial and social justice nonprofit founded by Dolphins owner STEPHEN ROSS. Community affairs had been overseen by SVP/Communications & Community Affairs JASON JENKINS before his death in August 2022. It has been vacant since then (Ben Fischer, SBJ).

Logitix named former Experience LLC CEO JUNIOR GASPARD to its BOD. He will support the secondary ticketing distribution company's overall strategy, business development, marketing, organizational design and culture. Gaspard, a 2018 SBJ Forty Under 40 honoree, previously served in such roles as co-Founder & CEO of FRAX and VP/Sales for Scoutmob (Bret McCormick, SBJ).

The Patriot League awarded Commissioner JENNIFER HEPPEL a five-year contract extension that runs through June 30, 2028. She was appointed as the league's fifth commissioner in 2015 (Patriot League).

Catena Media promoted its Gaming Today Managing Editor MARCUS DINITTO to Content Manager to oversee the company's new partnership with Sporting News. He will also remain involved in sports betting content. DiNitto, who spent over nine years with SBJ and most recently served as Managing Editor of SBJ Daily, has also held such roles as Managing Editor of USA Sports Gaming and Sporting News Media (SBJ).

DePaul Univ. extended the contract of AD DEWAYNE PEEVY until June 2027. He was named AD in August 2020 (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 9/13).

New York Road Runners named NYC Department of Parks & Recreation Assistant Commissioner/Communications CRYSTAL HOWARD SVP/Public Affairs. Howard will oversee the organization's media & PR, government relations and community engagement verticals. Among other roles, Howard spent over four years with ESPN as Dir of Communications and three years with New Era Cap as Communications/Ent Marketing Manager (NYRR).
