Falmouth Stakes tips and runner-by-runner guide to Newmarket 3.35

Inspiral headlines the small-but-select field for the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes on Friday. Frankie Dettori will ride for Newmarket 3.35 after he kissed and made up with trainer John Gosden.

Prosperous Voyage and Sandrine reoppose from last month’s clash at Royal Ascot. Primo Bacio and Sibila Spain complete the pack and must give 9lbs to their younger rivals.

Ed Walker's filly finished third in the Duke of Cambridge at Royal Ascot.

Aurelien Lemaitre rides a filly for trainer Christopher Head. The fillie won the Prix du Muguet at Saint-Cloud in May under this rider. She was withdrawn from Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 15.

The top 2-y-o filly in 2021 returned with a dazzling display in the Coronation last month. Frankie Dettori rides her.

Rob Hornby was disappointed with Inspiral in last month's Coronation. Rob Horn by had previously made an excellent return when narrowly beaten in the 1000 Guineas.

Last year's winner won her first 3 starts last year. She was ridden by David Probert.

Inspiral will win for the Gosden family and Frankie Dettori. Inspirals won the Coronation Stakes.

Rory Delargy is looking at who will finish second in the Falmouth Stakes. Rory Delargo is backing Sandrine to chase Inspiral home. Prosperous Voyage was poor at Royal Ascot and she could have finished higher if a couple of things had gone her way.

INSPIRAL is favourite for the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket 3.35. 1000 Guineas runner-up Prosperous Voyage is a threat.
