Fanatics, Commanders Secure Maryland Sports Betting Future
Washington Commanders received one of the first 10 Maryland online sports betting licenses this morning. The Commander's will partner with the sports apparel giant Fanatics for the franchise's sports gambling operation.
Fanatics and Washington Commanders are going to partner for sports betting in Maryland. Fanatics is a distributor of officially licensed sports memorabilia for the sports leagues. The Commander's team procured a retail sports gambling facility license over the summer. The work forms pulled in Prince George’s County over summer mention a “Fanatic Sportsbook at FedEx Field”
Commanders are close to launching their retail sports betting operation. The Commanders' initial application for a Maryland sports gambling facility license was approved in August. Commander's owner Daniel Snyder expects big attendance at FedEx Field this season. The Washington Commandors were among the original 17 entities designated in the Maryland Sports wagering law to conduct retail betting.
