The 77th edition of the Little Brown Jug is set for Thursday afternoon (Sept. 22) at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Eleven three-year-old pacers have been parsed into two $50,000 elimination heats. The top four finishers advance to the $541,550 finale as Race 19. Fourever Boy has won four times from 16 starts this year. Dunn won the Jugeette yesterday with the Nancy Takter-trained Treacherous Dragon. Brian Brown has three chances to take home his first Jugs trophy with Night Hawk, Gulf Shores and Six Feet Apart. David Miller is one of winningest drivers in the race's history with five victories to date. Ron Burke will try to win the main event for the second consecutive year, with birthday and Adios and Milstein champion Bythemissal.
