Granite Hills High won the Division II football championship last weekend. Joaquin Thomas and Easton Peterson were surprised and shocked to find out their school had never won a football title. The team won 48-12 at Escondido. The players are excited and grateful. They are in contact with college teams. It's Regional time. For the team it was a good feeling to have teachers tell them how grateful they were for what they'd accomplished. for the school. to be the first team to win a title in 62 years. To be a college player. Thomas is interested in San Diego State, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Virginia.
