HBCU Football Top-5 Rankings
The HBCU football's power-five rankings are going into Week 12 of the 2022 season.
Fayetteville State won the CIAA Football Championship title after four-consecutive losses at the hands of Bowie State.
Benedict College won the first-ever SIAC Football Championship title with an 11-0 record. The team mauled Tuskegee 58-21. Jackson State earned the SWAC East title. They play the Braves in Lorman, MS, for the season finale in two weeks.
The SWAC West division race is still undecided. Prairie View, Southern and Texas Southern are still in the running. If all three teams lose on Saturday, the Panthers will become the SW AC West representatives and travel to meet Jackson State Tigers on December 3 in Jackson, MS.
North Carolina Central won the MEAC Championship. The Eagles will play the 2022 SWAC Champions in Atlanta at the Celebration Bowl on Dec. 17. Jackson State is the SWA East Champion. Benedict is SIAC champions. Fayetteville State will face Delta State in the NCAA Super Regional II playoffs. Florida A&M is ranked No. 24 in FCS and is playing for the bid to host the playoffs at Bragg Memorial Stadium.

Deion Sanders, Chennis Berry, Benedict, Richie Hayes Jr., Fayetteville State, NCCU and Trei Oliver are all going to play in the college football playoffs.
